On our second day in Ushuaia, we board the 'Train of the End of the World' to explore the city’s history. Once a penal colony, Ushuaia relied on inmate labor to build roads, structures, and the narrow-gauge railway, which once hauled timber for the prison and settlement. Today, the train carries travelers through windswept valleys and past remnants of the old prison camp. Ushuaia’s transformation from a place of exile to a thriving tourist destination is a testament to resilience, proof that even the harshest places can be reborn. The city now embraces its past while forging a new future at the 'End of the World.'
